"I was given the privilege to teach 22 nurses, all with a high-school nursing degree, and all employed at a large local Psychiatric Hospital. My module was titled, 'Psychiatric, Social, and Spiritual Aspects of Nursing'. It turned out to be a very exciting and rewarding experience." - TrudyTrudy's Class. Photo courtesy of Kathy Stewart.

"Teaching English is not as easy as you would think. I had a very difficult time coming up with my lessons before I left because I had no idea what skill level or who I would be teaching. It turned out that there were some beginners and some intermediates. This made lessons difficult as well. If I made them easy enough for the beginners they were too easy for the intermediates. If I geared them for the intermediate students they were too difficult for the beginners. I tried to make them more for the beginners as I figured at least the others would have a good review. We ended up going through the lessons about twice as fast as I had planned. We did have a lot of fun however doing Head and Shoulders, Knees and Toes." - KathyKathy's ESL Class.
